Doser ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Doser mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Full name — to personalize your experience
• Email address — for account authentication and communication
• Phone number — for account recovery and authentication purposes
• Password — stored securely using industry-standard hashing (we never store plaintext passwords)

During onboarding, we collect:

• University name
• Expected graduation year
• Major
• Pre-health track (e.g., Pre-Medicine, Pre-Nursing)
• Current GPA

Through regular use, we collect:

• Clinical experience data — experience names, organizations, categories, session hours, dates, and notes you enter
• App preferences — appearance mode (light/dark/system), weekly goals

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Provide and maintain the App's functionality
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account
• Display your clinical experience tracking data
• Personalize your experience within the App
• Send password reset emails when requested

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure, which uses:

• SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data
• Data is stored on SOC 2 compliant servers

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Your data stays between you and our secure servers.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete Account). When you delete your account:

• All your session logs are permanently deleted
• All your experience records are permanently deleted
• Your profile and personal information are permanently deleted
• Your authentication credentials are permanently removed

This action is irreversible.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data (visible within the App)
• Update or correct your data at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data by viewing it within the App

7. Children's Privacy

Doser is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
